A PSA nitrogen generator produces nitrogen by separating nitrogen from compressed air through pressure swing adsorption technology. During the adsorption cycle, carbon molecular sieve selectively adsorbs oxygen and other unwanted components while nitrogen passes through as the product gas. The adsorption material is then regenerated during the low-pressure cycle, allowing continuous nitrogen production.

A PSA nitrogen generator uses compressed air as its feed gas. After air treatment, compressed air enters the adsorption towers containing carbon molecular sieve. Oxygen and other impurities are selectively adsorbed, while nitrogen is collected as the product gas. The adsorption and regeneration cycles alternate automatically to provide a continuous nitrogen supply.
